The Czech music scene hasn’t experienced any similar event. Father and his four sons will perform together in Prague Rudolfinum. World famous piano virtuoso, Ivan Klánský, is going to celebrate his 70th birthday by the unique concert accompanied by his talented offspring. The concert named Ivan Klánský & Sons will be absolutely exceptional music act with absolutely exceptional interprets.

Ivan Klánský is one of the most significant czech pianists. He became the first Czech  shortlisted for finale of the prestigious International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw and was granted a number of outstanding awards. Among the latest for example last year Antonín Dvořák’s Award for lifelong work, this May Granate Star for lifelong contribution to Czech cultural heritage.

Ivan Klánský’s talented and succesful offspring, who took after his father, sell out music halls at home as well as abroad. His son Lukáš plays the piano, Vladimír plays the violin, Adam plays the violoncello and Daniel is a top bassbariton. The famous Epoque Quartet, whose member is son Vladimír, will also perform at the concert.

Exceptionally succesfull music family that can hand out their talent will meet together at one stage for the very first time. Jubilee concert Ivan Klánský & Sons will take place on 23rd November in Dvořák Hall of Prague Rudolfinum which will be filled up symbolically with sounds of  Antonín Dvořák’s works.
